Moving On: 2024 Outlook
2023 was a trying year for my family as the sell of our home turned into a trial of epic proportions; I also lost my admirable uncle. Ultimately, God rewarded our faith and allowed us to sell our Los Angeles home, and move into a dreamlike one in the state of Texas. We are truly grateful for the transition and grew tremendously throughout the tribulation. We are excited for this next chapter as well.
2023 was also a year of perpetual violence, especially with the increase in global conflict, which many believe to be of prophetic significance. Inflation and expenses for the American taxpayer continued to soar, while wages remained stagnant, forcing households to accrue more debt. Interest rates reached heights not seen in decades, crushing the purchasing power of many aspiring homeowners, and leaving few houses on the market due to current owners being locked into lower interest rates. Additionally, the church has become a mockery as many congregations have intertwined with the world by allowing drag shows, homosexuality, and lasciviousness to run rampant.
So what can we expect for 2024? Well, its already off to a hot start with the Epstein list being released, the TD Jakes controversy, fatal winter storms and tornadoes, and more. Hence, I'd say to expect the unexpected. Although interest rates peaked at mind-blowing heights, the Fed is projected to make several cuts this year, as they've already began to drop over the last few weeks. Tensions around the world, especially in the Middle East are expected to amplify, leading to widespread war, potentially even World War III. The threat of global terror is predicted to climb as well, as terrorist cells and organizations seek revenge and to create fear amongst allied nations. 2024 is also an election year, so you can be certain to see some unusual things. Election years always bring about chaos as the nation prepares for its new leader for the next four years.
The stock market is forecasted to remain shaky, so diversifying your investments is the best idea going forward. It would also be wise to invest in precious metals to protect against devaluation of the dollar, especially because many nations are ditching the dollar for other currencies. Precious metals provide a hedge against the US economy collapse because their values are consistent worldwide, as opposed to the dollar.
Stocking up on groceries and toiletries would be an intelligent move as well in the event of an unexpected lockdown, food shortage, major power outage, or terrorist attack. Lastly, firearms and ammunition are solid purchases as firearms, especially assault rifles, are becoming more difficult to find and purchase with gun control growing more strenuous. Although the Bible tells believers to exercise faith and place our trust in God, it also tells us to use wisdom, and to provide for and protect our families. Thus, it would be foolish not to prepare oneself as society continues to worsen.
You can surely anticipate programming, propaganda, and nefarious agendas to continue advancing, principally regarding the attack on our children. Remember, a certain group of people believe that order is created out of. Therefore, we MUST protect our children as they are our future, and satan knows that. He wants to corrupt them as early as he can so they can follow him and fall in love with the wicked ways of the world. Training them up in the Word of God is the best way to combat this demonic offensive.
Like many others, I'm of the mindset that we are living in the last days, based on Biblical prophecy. 2 Peter 2:1 says "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction" (KJV). The endorsement of worldly culture and sin in the pulpit by megachurches is absolute blasphemy. Preachers have been spreading false gospel regarding homosexuality, not being required set one's self apart from the world to be saved, and falling in love with immorality. Hence, as the Bible foretells, I expect more false teachers to rise up and a false gospel becoming more popular, paving the way for the great apostasy.
On the other hand, whenever satan schemes to destroy God's church, God always has a peculiar people who are steadfast and walking the narrow path of following him, known as the remnant. I believe this remnant of believers will continue to intensify and save more lost souls. This group of people also has the power and the ability to counteract the evil that is escalating across the globe. Accordingly, the best thing you can do in 2024 is get your heart right with God and accept him as your Lord and savior if you haven't done so already. Following him is the best decision you can make, and will provide you with peace that surpasses all understanding, even in the midst of tumultuous times.
